Ayisha’s life long passion for writing has her led to becoming an award winning columnist and published author. Writing professionally didn’t become a reality until after the murder of George Floyd and Ayisha’s need to express the anguish of the times as her own body healed from police brutality.
Utilizing her professional background in Anti Racism, she writes once a month for United Way, on identity formation of Black children while being raised by white parents
